Old Timey View of the Maker Faire

Last Saturday I had a great time at the Maker Faire with Tracy, Mike, and Bob. A good time was had by all, and I have a ton of pics to share. I'll just start out with a my old timey view of few moments at the Maker Faire.

Update: Lots of folks have asked me how I achieved this look. I shoot with a Canon 5D and the 24-70mm f2.8 lens, and the old timey look comes from Totally Rad Actions by The Boutwells, plus a wee bit of my own Photoshop magic.

Nice touch with the lomo... The effect brings out an authetnic vintage/old feel. I think you may have gone back in time to take these photos. =p

Lilia, please do a post on how you achieved this effect. Pretend I know nothing. Which I don't. They really are wonderful.

Wow - expensive actions but beautiful effects!

Yes, they're expensive, but they offer 40 different actions that I've used quite a bit. They really speed up your workflow, so that makes it totally worth it to me. They have some lovely B&W conversion actions that are wonderful!
