I can't tell if they are in a parallel parking spot, but I know smartcars are able to park that way in Austin downtown street parking. So nifty and teeny!
My stepmother used to drive an absolutely minuscule 1970's orange Honda we nicknamed "the Pumpkin." It was about the size of these newfangled Smart cars.
It was fine until she returned to where she'd parked it a couple hours before, to find it gently placed upside down!
Ha! We've had these in Germany for years and the people really park them like this. Germany is a lot smaller than the US so we've had parking issues for a long time. These cars are great for the city but scary on German motorways...
How are the safety ratings on something like that. As much as I'd love to get one they look like they'd disintegrate if hit with one of the fuel-guzzling 4 door tanks I still see far too often on highways.
