Last night, Ray and I rang in the new year at Anon Salon's Sea of Dreams. It's great to have a chance to wear costumes, yay. Happy New Year!

I love New Year's Eve, it's my favorite holiday after Halloween. There's always so much hope and promise that comes with the new year. Sometimes you're relieved that a bad year is over, and other times, you can reflect back fondly on a memorable year.
Here's a photo that was taken at the Twilight Zone in Alameda back around '87 or '88. The Twilight Zone was an underage club that was a big part of my teenage life for a few years. I'm still in touch with Brad, Jennifer and Thom.
These photos were from the last New Year's Eve party that Ray and I celebrated at our old apartment on 18th & Valencia in The Mission. I lived in that apartment for 11 years, and I had a feeling that it might be the last NYE celebration. I have lots of great memories from that place.
